Mojatu Foundation has received accreditation approval for the second year to offer Open Awards accredited courses.
This is exciting news given the difficulties of having to shifting all our training programmes online due to Covid-19 pandemic. This will enable us to extend our programmes further thus supporting the local BAME and the New and Emerging communities to gain skills and employment.
We have been providing training, skills development and employment programmes for migrant African communities including refugees and asylum seekers for over five years. Our current courses include driving theory, English language, Health Care, Agriculture & Horticulture, Media and Publishing and Preparation for Life & Work. You can see all our current programmes in the training page.
“We are so proud to be able to develop our training and support more people from our communities. We want to be able to keep providing opportunities for support, volunteering and training to ensure that BME community members understand their value and have the best possible opportunities.” Valentine Nkoyo, CEO of Mojatu Foundation
Some of our previous trainees work in healthcare, retail, media and charity.
