Our women stories and experiences

Safe at last

Saz was just two when she made the dangerous journey with her family from Iraq to the UK. Now studying at university and settled in Nottingham she recounts what it was like to be a refugee, how the city welcomed her family and why we could all do with being just a little more kind.

How Can You Help?

You can help by joining our team or donating to help us sustain the work of improving lives in our training & employability projects, supporting girls and women, health and wellbeing initiatives and through our community engagement, awareness raising and engagement programmes.
